The MLS kit leak from earlier in the week has been partially confirmed thanks to a pair of new kits officially unveiled by the Columbus Crew.
The Columbus Crew, fresh off a rebrand from their old construction worker crest to a newer look that aims to wrap all of the club's values up in a neat little circle, also needed to refresh their kit offerings. The first two shirts wearing the new badge are certainly lookers.

The new home kit, as evidenced by the leaked images, is just about all yellow except for black sponsor logos, shoulder stripes, and rings that sit on the collar, sleeves, and around the hem. It's a classic and unobtrusive look that fits the new badge. The front and back of the shirt feature a very subtle tonal checkerboard pattern that is visible when the light hits it.
On the inside of the shirt is necktape that features black-and-yellow checkerboard pattern that matches the bottom half of the crest while the back of the neck features the club's "Columbus Crew SC" wordmark. The home shirt combines with yellow shorts and socks, both of which feature black accents, to create the home kit.
While the primary uniform is certainly solid, the away is easily the prettier one.

The away kit uses the same template as the home kit but swaps yellow for black and vice versa. It's a sharper design that uses the colors to great effect. That tonal checkerboard pattern is a little more obvious and it works particularly well on this one.
