Say hello to Miguel Ibarra. When most of us last saw the Minnesota United FC star, he was making his USMNT debut, becoming the first second division player in decade to make the team. On Saturday night, Minnesota is playing Ft. Lauderdale Strikers in an NASL playoff semifinal, and he scored this ridiculous goal.
Is this intentional? Or did it take a deflection? It's impossible to tell even after a few dozen viewings, but there isn't an obvious deflection here. It might just be a brilliant chip. Incredible stuff, if he meant it.
