Sammy Watkins should be full participant in practice, groin injury not a fantasy concern for Thursday

Sammy Watkins shouldn't be limited despite the Bills playing on a short week. We break down the fantasy implications.

Buffalo Bills wide receiver Sammy Watkins got through Sunday's game with no setbacks on his groin injury. The Bills only had a walkthrough on Monday in preparation of the short week, but Watkins would have been a full participant if they held practice. He should be close to 100 percent for Thursday night's game against the Miami Dolphins.

Watkins suffered a groin injury last week and missed practices on Thursday and Friday. Despite the missed time, he was active for Sunday's Week 10 game against the Kansas City Chiefs, grabbing four catches for 27 yards in the losing effort.

Fantasy impact: Watkins played on 68 of 73 offensive snaps and appeared to have no limitations, but the coaches opted to use him in a decoy role. He still has a shaky matchup with Brent Grimes, who pestered Calvin Johnson all day on Sunday, but Watkins has done enough to earn WR3 consideration in his rookie year. He was starting to catch fire, recording 289 receiving yards and three touchdowns in two games before the Week 8 bye and groin injury.
