Vick's foot injury shouldn't be an issue heading into Week 10. We break down the fantasy implications.
New York Jets quarterback Michael Vick was a full participant in Wednesday's practice and should be good to go for Sunday's Week 10 game against the Pittsburgh Steelers.
Vick got the start over Geno Smith in Week 9, but got his foot stepped on during the game and missed some time to be evaluated for a concussion. Despite some initial concern from head coach Rex Ryan, the injury doesn't appear to be serious. Vick returned to the game, throwing for 196 yards and a touchdown on 21 of 28 passing in a loss to the Kansas City Chiefs.
Fantasy impact: The foot injury seems to be a non-issue. Vick is clearly past his prime, but he avoided turnovers against the Chiefs and had fun feeding Percy Harvin, who went off for 11 catches and 129 yards. Vick is a quality QB2 option against the Steelers defense, particularly with six teams on bye. He's done enough to earn the starting job for at least one more week.
