Kansas City Royals pitcher Yordana Ventura, a close friend of former St. Louis Cardinals outfielder Oscar Taveras, is wearing a tribute to his friend on his cap during his start in game 6 of the World Series against the San Francisco Giants.
Taveras and his girlfriend Edilia Arvelo, both of whom were killed in a car accident in the Dominican Republic over the weekend. Prior to Game 6 Kauffman Stadium held a moment of silence for the pair as well.
