Andrew Luck gets a short week against a great defense. Is there any reason for a fantasy owner to worry?
Well, the old "quarterbacks take a big leap in year No. 3" narrative got a little stronger this year. Indianapolis Colts quarterback Andrew Luck has absolutely exploded in his third season, leading the league in passing yards and passing touchdowns. He has even added 65 rushing yards and two rushing scores in his five games this season.
He'll travel to face the Houston Texans this week, which could be a tough road matchup. The Colts will have to figure out how to block J.J. Watt and put points on the board. The Texans have yet to allow more than 20 points in a game this season and have been much better at home.
Fantasy impact: The short week on the road can be a big deterrent, but not for fantasy football's top quarterback. Luck's probably not a top-three guy like he's been week in and week out, but he's still a very solid, must-start option.
