Fantasy start/sit advice, Week 13: DeAndre Hopkins

The Texans receiver has been a solid fantasy option. Can he keep it going in Week 13?

Houston Texans wide receiver DeAndre Hopkins has been a fairly reliable fantasy play in his second season. Through 11 games, Hopkins has caught 51 balls for 803 yards and four touchdowns. He's on pace to make significant improvements on all of his rookie numbers, as he's already essentially matched last year's line of 52/802/2, and he's shown a knack for making some big down-field plays.

The biggest issue for Hopkins moving forward has nothing to do with him or his own performance. Hopkins has been plagued by inefficient and limited quarterback play. From Ryan Fitzpatrick, to a brief stint with Ryan Mallett, and back to Fitzpatrick, the Texans don't have any proven gunslingers on their roster, which can hinder Hopkins.

Fantasy Impact: Hopkins has a tough matchup this week as the Texans take on the Tennessee Titans. Their secondary gives up the 10th-fewest fantasy points to opposing wide receivers. Regardless, there is no reason to sit Hopkins. He's locked in as a WR3 with some upside.
