Larry Fitzgerald limited Tuesday; should play for fantasy owners

Larry Fitzgerald was limited in practice but should be ready to go for Thursday. We break down the fantasy implications.

Arizona Cardinals wide receiver Larry Fitzgerald was limited in Tuesday's practice. Fitzgerald is dealing with a knee injury that forced him to miss practice time last week, and had him questionable leading up to Sunday's game against the Kansas City Chiefs. Fitzgerald wound up playing in that game though, catching four passes for 34 yards.

It wasn't a big game, but he didn't look hugely limited by his injury. He was targeted nine times in the game, but the Chiefs just covered him well. Fortunately, the Cardinals did manage to win the game, 17-14. Whatever the case, it wasn't the kind of return that Fitzgerald wanted, as he missed Arizona's Week 12 and Week 13 games.

Fantasy Impact: Fitzgerald being limited on Tuesday shouldn't be considered a huge deal. He didn't seem to suffer any setbacks in the game against the Chiefs. It sounds like the Cardinals are simply trying to limit his reps given that it's a short week before they play the St. Louis Rams on Thursday.
